State youth policy 2012 - To confer Youth Awards on State and District level
In order to promote the social work done by the youths of the State / District and to encourage them to work for youth development, a scheme to provide Youth/Maiden in the age group of 13 to 35 for the State and District level has been implemented. Form of awards - 1. District Youth Award will be given to one a youth, a young women and a registered Institution at the District level. The Award will be given in the form of letter of honour, a memento, cash amount of Rs.10,000/- per youth (per Youth and Maiden) and per Institution a letter of honour, memento cash amount of Rs.50,000/-. 2. Stat level Youth Award is given to a Youth, Maiden, and one registered Institution in every Division according to the divisional division of Sports Department. The award will be given in the form of a certificate, a letter of honour, cash price of Rs.50,000/- and cash of price of Rs.1.00 Lakh to registered Institutions.
